Boston - NCDA Conference

Boston is a great place to visit.  I am attending the National Career Development Association Conference, and have had a little time in the mornings and evenings to see some of the sights.  Here are a few pics.
I rolled in at 4AM on Sunday.  Caught a 1PM sacrament meeting at this building.  Several recent BYU grads were in the young Cambridge 2nd Ward congregation. It was a great experience.

I don't know what it is about these old buildings that screams "take a picture of me."  I love New England architecture.

Bunker Hill monument

Do I really want to hike up to the top of this monument?

Made it to the top!

Boston Neighborhoods

These pics are for Brandon and Netell, who love Boston.

Attending the conference were several people whose books I read in grad school.  It has been fun to be with them.

Our opening keynote speaker was this autistic woman.  She told an amazing story including learning language and eventually earning a doctorate.

I found a new place to add to my list of favorites in Boston.  This is a fort at Castle Island.

I enjoyed eating lunch on the island, watching boats cruise in and out of the bay, and airplanes flying low overhead as they took off and landed at the Logan Airport.
