Boston - Temple, Harvard, Fine Arts Museum

After the conference today, Derek Jack and I drove out to see the temple, Bunker Hill, and Harvard.  I then dropped him off and spent the evening at the Museum of Fine Arts - Wednesday evenings are free!  And it was amazing!!!

Boston Temple

Made the climb, one more time.

Rubbing Mr. Harvard's lucky toe.  I heard once that the students pee on this shoe in the night and then laugh when they see all the visitors rubbing it. Maybe that's what makes it so lucky!

Brings back memories from 2002.  Maybe we'll do it again before too long.

Memorial with cards at the sight of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

The museum of fine arts was absolutely amazing...and overwhelmingly huge.  I thought I'd run through in 30 minutes.  over 3 hours later and completely exhausted, I reluctantly decided it was time to go.  My battery died, so I only took pictures of the first couple of exhibits.
