Pioneer Day

We enjoyed celebrating Pioneer Day in Spanish Fork today.  Here are some pics highlighting our festivities.

Jill placed third in her age group (6th overall) and 2nd overall for Spanish Fork women. I was first in my age group.  Together, we received bronze, silver, and gold medals.

Jill gave up her amateur status when she accepted the $25 award for being the second fastest woman in Spanish Fork!

After eating omelets for brunch, and then taking a noon nap, we took the family to the east end of the Spanish Fork River Trail and had fun playing in the water at "Dripping Rock".

I had just gotten Emma bathed and dressed when we heard a splash in the bathroom.  James had just gotten out of the tup and Emma climbed in fully clothed.  Needless to say, she had a very heavy diaper, and was dripping wet.  This girl has a fascination with water.

Camryn was in charge of fireworks this year.  She did a great job!
