Chicago with Bryce

Looking back at the City from Navy Pier

I've been promising to take Bryce along on a business trip for about three years now.  His schedule aligned nicely (just back from two weeks of scout camps), so we found a reasonable plane ticket and he joined me in Chicago.  Being with Bryce has been a blast.

I asked him about his top three or four things he'd like to do.  Interestingly, the Chicago Temple was on the top of his list, followed by the Willis Tower, the Michael Jordan statue, and a few other touristy sites.  Here are some pics from a very fun week.

White Sox Game

On Wednesday, we drove to Michigan to visit Whirlpool and Stryker. Stryker is in Kalamazoo.  Bryce really wanted a shirt that said Kalamazoo, but we were in too big of a hurry to shop.  On the way back to Chicago, we stopped by the University of Notre Dame.

Chicago Pizza.  I ate one piece and was stuffed.  I've never had so much cheese in one sitting.

Thursday morning we went for a run along the lake front and then back by way of Millennium Park

Scary!  103 floors above ground (1,400 feet high)
