I woke up this morning around 7AM to what sounded like fireworks. They went off three times, about a half hour apart.

| I think I wrote about the hotel a while ago - a 16th century convent converted into a beautiful Marriott. |
 |
| After breakfast Mark Madsen came running back to the hotel to let people know what was going on in the town square. Originally we were told that Cusco was celebrating its anniversary. We were later told that they do this parade every Sunday morning. |

| After taking a few pictures, I walked a few blocks to a beautiful LDS stake center where I was inspired by the gospel doctrine lesson. Although I couldn't understand a lot, I did pick up on a few things. The lesson was titled "Faith in Every Footstep", but the instructor started the lesson by reading Moses 6:63 - "And behold, all things are created and made to bear record of me, both things temporal and things which are spiritual...all things bear record of me." Then he spoke about Machu Picchu and this beautiful part of the world, and I thought about the amazing things we had seen yesterday. |

| Walking back from church, I took a few more pics of Cusco |
 |
| These girls carrying baby alpaca loved to let you take their picture for a sol. |
